This May morning I woke up thinking of the Greeçe of 2009. This after a recent personnal experience I might write in this personnal blog. I also thought how far is to day Hellas from what Marc Chagall used to say: " Greeçe is still Europe and is already the Orient. She is a country with a unique light of inconceivable clarity & sweetness.. Never have I felt anything similar to what I experienced in this country, where every monument and every ruin takes the traveller in imagination 3OOO years backwards in time.."
He is right Chagall as far as the light is concerned? as the extraordinary Art this country gave worldwide. Born Greek, and brought up from the youth abroad, I was like anyother greek "thirsty" of my country when away, until the day I have decided to share my time with Europe and Greeçe.
This has happened the last 3O years. Magical Greece in the beginning won't let you see some of the sad realities of this generous by all means country. Then when you go deeper by involving yourself to the every day's life, astonished to start with, you will quickly realise the odd, and ugly , this country has nourished her beloved children, specially with everything that deals with Administration.
As an exemple I shall take here the following facts: I bought long ago, a pieçe of Land not very far from the property I Live
& thought time has arrived to sell it. I did a complete stydy so as a "parcellement of this place" is achieved, we hv sent the documents to Athens, and they arrived back to crete accepted so as the local Authority transcribe them to the cadaster. Oh Greek children of the motherGreece: the Local woman, refuses to authorize their transcription!! This is a typical greek problem called among greeks as " THE FAKELLAKI " monkey-business. Now I have to search the way to pay the Local Lady so as she just
"transcribes" the Athens authorisations in the local city plan... No comments, anyone can understand how bitter the greek light might become under those circumstances!!

c'est sa fille Maria, qui a déçidé de qui inviter. c'est Normal mes enfants on fait pareil. Mais Nicos est si beau dans sa tenue du Père de la mariée qu'on est à se demander si c'est lui le gambros! idem pour Liana sa compagne, mon amie magnifique à tous points de vues? les voiçi;je leur envoie ces bouquets de mon jardin en leur disant: anthospartos o vios sas opos & ton paidion sas...
